Hey There, I am Sofia Carter. If your HP Printer in Error State, make sure to set the printer to Default Printer mode. To open the dialogue box, click the Windows Start button and type Run. Press OK after typing Control Panel and choosing Devices and Printers. Next, right-click on the HP printer that is now visible in the list of printers. Select Set as Default Printer next. Your HP printer icon will now display a green check mark, indicating that your printer is configured as the default.
